Small businesses provide jobs and valuable employment skills to local residents. Employees can learn to make a product, perform a trade, or acquire valuable customer service skills that will serve them long into the future. Additionally, the networking that is developed between community members can provide invaluable opportunities for growth and development not just for the owner, but for the employees as well.


Dollars made by small businesses generally stay within the community, and can also bring Small business owners sponsor upcoming local athletes, school groups, and other activities that help keep them running. Also, because small business owners will typically shop with other small business owners to keep more dollars within the community.


Small businesses are a valuable asset to any community. The money and exposure they bring in can serve everyone for years to come.
